The DAAD seeks to increase the number of candidates applying for international doctoral degrees for postgraduate studies at German universities.
Who can apply?
Doctoral students, academics, and young researchers who have completed a master’s degree or diploma.
What can be funded?
PhD project in a college of universities in Germany.
Duration of funding:
Up to 4 years – depending on the faculty.
A monthly stipend of 1,200 euros.
Payments to cover health, accident and personal liability insurance.
Provide a travel allowance (depending on the country of origin).
An annual research allowance of € 460.
